As a professional equipment mechanic I have had a few creepers in my time from the expensive and from the the cheep and I must say I really like this one it is light easly stows nicely in my service truck and comfortable to work on and has a pretty low profile ground clearance and rolls easy And priced under $100 it is a good all around deal it os also found everywhere..Same as the truck tool, fraction of the price. Rolls great.Long haired ppl if you're used to creepers with the wheels farther from your head, be careful to keep your hair up when using. Don't get it caught in the wheels like I did. What a painI had a cheap, auto parts store, creeper for several years and it worked fine for oil changes and the occasional repair. It never moved real well though and would always get stuck on the smallest little pebble. The wheels finally gave out on my old one so I needed a new creeper. After doing a lot of research I decided on the Lisle creeper and couldn't be happier. This thing rolls around so much nicer than my old creeper. It easily rolls over small rocks and divots in my driveway, even with my 265 lbs on it. I love the yellow color although it does show every bit of grime you get on it but it is easily cleans up with some degreaser and a rag. I was a little concerned about the comfort of this creeper since there was no padding on it but it is actually very comfortable, much more so than my old one that had padding. I am very happy that I made this purchase and would highly recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for a quality creeperOn a side note, I work for a small trucking company and noticed that our mechanics have a very similar creeper in the shop. Theirs say MAC Tools on them but they are identical in every way to the Lisle creeper. After talking to one of our mechanics he confirmed that Lisle indeed makes the MAC creepers. MAC puts their name on it and charge $100+ for theirs. Go figure!Compared to my older Jeppers Creepers, this new product seems a little better. It has two extra wheels and rolls super easy. It seems pretty strong and is almost half the weight of my older Creeper. It's about 2 inches shorter; width is about the same. The older version is also very low profile - so nothing gained there. The older version had full padding, but this new hard plastic version should be easier to clean. Seems comfortable to use -- I'll have to wait to see how it holds up. Overall, I like it.When the hardwood creeper I used for a quarter century cracked, I was tempted to glue it back together. I am glad that I did not.The Lisle creeper puts your body significantly closer to the floor than the traditional designs. If you are using a creeper at all, you are probably working on a car on jack stands. And it is often very helpful, when you are trying to get a transmission in place or mount an exhaust system, to be just that extra inch closer to the floor to have the clearance to do what you need to do.There are other nice touches to this design. The handles are in the right place, such that when you pick up the creeper it is always balanced under your hand. The rollers and pivots turn freely and easily even on cracked concrete. The padding on the head rest is durably enclosed in naughyde. And the body of the creeper is safety yellow, so if someone has left it on the shop floor and you are making your way the shop around in dim light, you can see it BEFORE you step on it.All in, its a great design job and a solid product at a great price. By the way I have no connection with Lisle or their distributors. I am just a fan of this product, and good tools generally.Extremely well made. Very easy to move around, actually I wish it had a lock out or break when I am trying to pry or turn something tough. Neck/head rest is comfortable and can easily be replaced if a different rest is required. The 40 inch length makes it stable and comfortable. Easy storage when not is use, minimal with hangs nicely on the wall or can be slid in to a narrow corner. Clean up is a breeze. I have dumped oil, break fluid, transmission fluid, etc on it and you simply wipe it off. I use this on both rough and smooth concrete surfaces without issue. I have not tried it on pavement yet. I actually have a second version of this that I lay my tools out on. I added a simple no skid roll out surface to it for simplicity. Tools, parts, etc roll right along with you. This is also nice when my kids or friends want to help.works great, too bad I never had one of these over the last 40 years........slow learner. Notice in the other reviews a couple of times its mentioned that the wheels are hard to snap into the body of the creeper. For those so challenged, note that there is a small circlip in the end of the wheel shaft that rattles around in a groove. If you are trying to push in the wheel and it won't go, just stop the pushing pressure, rotate or move the shaft around and then continue pushing in. Most likely the wheel will snap right in when the clip repositions itself. It takes a bit of pressure to snap it home, but don't get a hammer and start banging on it. Just jostling it around while pushing in will do it. Gloves will help as well. Otherwise its all good and wish I'd have discarded the cardboard and foam rubber many decades ago.........duh. The quality of the product is good, wheels are smooth, all is well. Creep on !This model of creeper is the best there is. It doesn't have fancy tool holder's or any other space wasting features, I have been auto tech and have been working in the repair Field for 40 years and have tried them all.
