The corners are a very tiny bit Sharp, but as they sit above your table they will not catch on your tablecloth, napkins, or anything else.I am considering getting some antique gold paste for the raised area.All-in-all, I am very happy with the purchase.Love this. It looks so authentic everybody thinks I have antique plates. It complements my French cottage look and I cannot recommend them enough they’re very easy to clean I wipe them off with a moist cloth my countertops is clean and I’m always ready for any kind of drop in guestThese runners are durable and look great if you are decorating your table more casual or formal.BUYER BEWARE. The “antique white” is not a white. It’s more of a baby blue. Going to have to spray paint them, but the overall quality is great. Just not an antique white at all. To the seller… Maybe name the color something else?I used these for a dessert table at a wedding. They look high end, but because they are plastic they are very lightweight. It was easy for me to transport instead of fancy glass plates and they look just as good, (lots of compliments). They fit in well with our rustic-style theme but can be just as easily used for other themes. I put some sunflower decals on them because that was the flower the bride was using. I can take the decals off if I'm using them for another event.They were beautiful but everyone was cracked
