Remove the clutch assembly If you are concerned, professional installation is highly recommended. 5. Disassemble the clutch assembly Remove parts such as nuts, washers, springs, glands, drums, etc.Then remove the friction plate combination and simply tie it with nylon cable ties to prevent disorder in order. 6.Disassemble the riveted structure of the gear and the clutch basket Punch a locating hole on the rivets for drilling and drill out the old rivets.If you don't have drill press at home, you can use angle grinder or any kind heavy duty grinders to grind out the head of the rivets. Just be careful not to damage the tooth of gear. 7. Separate and clean parts Take off parts such as rubber cushions, kickstarter gear, backing plate, etc.The release bearing may use a press or pull code. Don't forget to use spacers when you use press. 8. Assemble the new clutch drum and gear combination According to the assembly sequence before disassembly, use our bolts to replace the previous rivetsBe sure to use thread locker and tighten the bolts with a torque wrench. 9. Try to assemble the clutch basket and gear combination to verify that the shaft hole bearing is normal 10. Follow the dismantling steps to reversely restore other parts to the inside of the drum If you want to replace the new friction plate, please assemble it in order.Finally, use a torque wrench to tighten the nuts. Please keep the same tightening force between each spring. 11. Reinstall the clutch assembly 12. After all assembly is completed, please add engine oil 13. Start the engine and test the effect If the doubts like "incomplete separation" still cannot be solved through various adjustments, you can try to adjust the degree of compression of the spring. When adjusting, keep the nut torque on the outside of each spring consistent.
